      Normally 0000 0000. Sometimes 0000 0001. I think.

Try 00000000. You should be an Administrator to do that, or you will be.........

If you can not enter into service mode , then you are not a tech, and this lead us to the point that you do not have the athourity to change the numbers.

Try to do as follows: Hit "Utility" on the keyboard, than "Counter" in the display, than "stop-0-0-stop-0-1" on the keyboard and finally hit "administrator input" in the display (2nd entrance) here you see the original admin # and here you can modify it. Good Luck! Hans

It seems ALL forums are inhabited by "Wholier than Thous" I started as a tech 27 years ago and am now a business owner. I can still find time to help other people who have the guts to ask for help.. As my sweetheart says, "All people are just trying to get by in the world" Have some empathy guys.. you were there once!!

The administrator code can be changed in the service mode, or the admin mode (if you know the current password). If you are unable to enter the service mode because of a password issue, you might try a total clear, but only as a last resort. I have forgotten if there is an option after a warm restart if a tech password change can be done. Perhaps the security mode will allow it.

Hi, I had the same problem. Have you tried 0000? It asks for 8 digits, but this worked on mine. Good Luck.
