    [Error Code] C-C183 on bizhub 421

    I have had to do a recovery on the cf card and now I am getting this message and it will not let me flash the firmware update. When I click on system 2 in service mode it says lease wait in the upper right hand corner and that is all it does. Is there something I am missing? I have looked in the service manual but it has no fixes for this issue.

      Did you swap boards out? The problem code discribes a model diverence between the OACB and the MFPB.

          Each version of the 501 series (361, 421) has a specific base firmware. If you installed the wrong file you would get this code. Once you get the correct base firmware on then any later updates are all the same. Emujo
