    BZ 4750

I have a client with new BZ4750, 2,225 copies on the clock, One cassette only. The very latest firmware loaded after the following fault appeared.
When the printer runs out of paper "replenish paper" comes up. The client pulls out the tray, loads the tray with paper, closes the tray and the "replenish paper" signs stays on. Watching from the back of the printer I can see that the tray doesn't lift. If we turn the printer off and then back on the printer behaves as it should - tray lifts and performs as it should. If I pull the tray out while the printer still has paper in the tray and push the tray back in, all systems work as they should. It appears that the fault only appears if it runs out of paper. As yet I haven't tried a new board or replaced any sensors, etc.

    any suggestions appreciated.

how long do you wait after reinserting the tray. THese machines seem to take awhile after the paper is loaded....Like a minute....it's weird...
Everyone has the right to be stupid. Some people just abuse this privelage more than others
