Konica Minolta C451 - wierd printing patten - partially faded out black prints

Konica Minolta C451 partially faded out Black prints Color OK.

Not sure exactly what causes the issue. See the Pic. I printed full black page.



Before I try just wanted to make sure: could it be Laser Unit or Imaging Unit? Any help is appreciated.

I replaced the imaging unit, no luck. Will it be really the laser unit? if that is the case why I did not see the pattern on other colors? Any help is really appreciated. Thanks Thendral

Have you tried to clean the print head ?

Seen this some time ago in some of these but after changing the drum unit it went away.
I remember these machine had an issue with the black drum unit spilling developer from their back
side,did you check that?

check the connections between MFB and laser unit

OK I was able to fix. Just to let everyone know - It is laser unit. There seems to be some toner / dirt in the pathway causing this weird pattern.
Once I clean it and put it back it prints good.
