    C5500 Jam code J-1705 fix??

Had a job running over night & evidently quit printing in the middle of a book. No code shown.
Came in this morning & paper from any tray or bypass wouldn't go past entry into the copier & I
retreived jam code 1705. I did find a small piece of krinkled up paper in the feed slot & cleaned it
out, but still won't feed. Even the bypass tray doesn't move up to feed position. Is it a sensor
    problem?

    Hi

    After the vertical conveyance sensor
    (PS50) turns ON, intermediate conveyance
    sensor /1 (PS27) is not
turned ON within the specified time.

    Action to Take:

    Open the vertical conveyance
    door and
    remove jammed paper,
    if any.

Its The sensor Just after the bypass in the entry section.

Thanks & I checked the sensor & after turning the copier on, I heard a kind of
screeching from the back that has happened a couple of times during long runs about a year ago.
Turned the machine off, back on & it started feeding great. Hasn't given me a problem since.
Also, last week after throwing multiple codes, I checked the process unit's main plug on the back of
the carrier & the female connector on the back of the machine. Found a little prong out of place.
Reseated it & adjusted the pull out tracks. No codes after that.
