Have recently purchased two 5501 engines and trying to get around the compatibility issue of them not communicating with the PF602. Error code c132 arises. The qwuestion is, has anyone got a 'bodge' / workaround for making this work. From my research the data is stored on the NVRAM which is coded to reject this paper feed. ???? Frustrated atm as have invested thousands on a rather large paper weight!

5501 is not compatible with the 602. That was for the 6501, 6501p and 65hc only. you need the lu-202 for the 5501.And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right! -

Know this is a late reply but I do know of C5501 engines running with PF602 paper decks. Error code C-C132 is not in any code list I can find. Can you confirm the error code?Comment

The pf-602 is only supported on the c6501, c6501p and 65hc.
The code is a firmware mis-match error.
If they have a pf602 on a c5501 then they are probably running c6501 firmware and pwbs or the front cover was replaced with the incorrect one.And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!Comment
