KonicaMinolta C552/FS526

I have a C552 with a FS526 with J7290 and J7213 jams. The machine is running 2-sided 8.5X11 with a cover inserted from tray 1 of the post sheet inserter. When it jams the front cover will be stapled on the back and the last page will be behind the cover and not stapled. Sometimes after a jam the FNS main motor will run until you reboot the machine. Any ideas?

Is your cover cardstock? Try running plain paper thru and see if it does it. I have noticed these finishers really dont like anything above 90lb cardstock. Takes a lot of modification to get it to run right and none of it you will find in a manual.
