konica/minolta bizhub 501 scaning problem

prints , coping and scans from the glass normal, copy ok from the feeder, but when scans from the feeder the image gets cut off maybe an 1.5 inches from both sides, could be some settings or ??????????????????

Have you gone through DF settings in service mode?

Try doing the adjustment to calibrate the page width with the variable resistor. Can you see what page size the DF is detecting in scan mode? Also try manually selecting the scan size.

I am getting the ideas what it can be, will be there next week and check all ideas and look more careful whats going with the settings in more details , could be a driver???????????? its only when scanning, or somebody pushed a wrong button, is any way to reset to factory default ????????????

What do u mean by driver are u refering to a driver on a computer?
Are u using "pull" scanning like network twain?

i think your machine isn't detecting the actual paper size from the feeder.

the cbut prints fine, copy also fine letter size to letter size , but when scanning letter size to the pc the image is cut off on both sides

why DF detecting paper size in copy mode and not from the scan mode

Must check the DF auto adjustments that adjusts the minimun and maximum width of the originals.
