Bizhub 501 service menu code?

Hi Guys

I need into the service mode to reset the fixing unit count, after stop,0,0 stop, 0, 1 its asking me for an admin password. I have tried 00000000 and it does not work. Any other suggestions?

CE password was not on by default on these old machines, chances are if a dealer has serviced it they will have changed the default password to protect their interests (force the person with the copier to have only that dealer service it, which in my opinion is morally questionable if the person bought it outright. But since when do dealer principals have morals, right?)

If you dont know what it is and cant find out, life is about to get interesting. Not sure what is involved on those machines to reset it, someone else may know.

I know its typically the administrator mode code but did you give 12345678 a try?

Also im pretty sure the CE password is saved in the NVram so you can try changing that but i do believe that will mess with your counters
