Replace imaging unit K

Good day,

Gentlemen, I need your help regarding Konica Minolta Bizhub C35. The machine indicate replace imaging unit K, but when i replace the unit the same message appear. I try to clean the chip on the machine which contact to the drum unit but still the same. Machine is working scan, copy, print and fax, only the message bother the costumer. Any suggestion is highly appreciated...Thanks...

Are u using after market chips?
It happens from time to time with those chips.

We are using all original consumables and parts...

Then there is a bulletin out for that. Its a crap machine. TAAU1100165EN00

There is only one way out of that, actually three.
Replace MFPB
Repair MFPB
Replace machine

interesting that it would suggest replacing the mfp board when as always the tc and iu csic harnesses plug into the printer control board.

Make sure none of the contacts for either the toners or the IUss are damaged and shorting to the sheild - it will disable communication for both the toners and IUs even if just one is shorted.
