    [Misc] PSES

Another PSES issue....ver 3.1 running on 2008 r2. Authentication module only, fully license for 5 MFPs with 3 in the fleet. Device manage confirms connection, authentication manager shows success when managing MFP. MFP is using Indella MiFare readers and the correct LDD is installed. PSES AD setup returns all users when tested. Swipe badge and MFP displays timeout error, login through control panel, same error. PSWC login gives Authentication Server Busy, Login to PSES with same user credentials works fine. Firewall/Antivirus disabled. Any ideas? Emujo

    Re: PSES

    Just throwing out guesses.

Maybe a problem with the self signed certificate on the copier. Maybe delete it and re-set up ssl, open api ssl, TCP socket ssl assuming pses needs all of that to connect.

Is it possible copier admin password changed or locked out. Does pses use admin credentials to connect to copier?

I don't know a whole lot about pses. Lucky we stop selling it and use papercut only

Ive seen some issues similiar after IT changing vlan configuration

How does the copier connect to server. Via IP or hostname. Possible DNS issue?

      Re: PSES

Tried all of this..PSES is connecting and managing the MFP as expected (no errors on device list or when managing authentication) the issue is when the MFP tries to authenticate back to the PSES server. The AD server is a separate server and it seems this is where the failure lies. We just get time out error at the MFP, or a Authentication application busy error when logging in through PSWC. Emujo
