[Misc] Olivetti D Color MF350 Firmware Compatibility to Konica Bizhub C353

Hi guys

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this.

Will the Olivetti version of the firmware work in the Konica Minolta machine? We have 1 C353 in the field that may need a firmware update, but as we aren't a KM dealer, don't have access to their firmware files.

Has anyone else used Olivetti to KM firmware in this way and has it given any problems?

Apparently the firmware of the C353 needs updated to allow SMB scanning to Windows Server 2012 R2. Looking to upgrade to GP1-R6, I am unsure what version is currently on it, but would be confident it will be 2 or 3 versions old. I'll know this information tomorrow.

Ive known guys update Oce machines with KM firmware to allow it to use KM consumables without any issue

Thanks, i've been told that the Konica firmware works in the Olivetti machines, but dont know if it works vice versa.

Just afraid of bricking the machine.
