bizhub 501 firmware update

Dear,

I tried to update my konica minolta bizhub 501 to the latest firmware version 21.

Unfortunately, the feeder stopped working and the auto paper selection switch as well.

Any idea?????

Explain everything you did to perform this update, including the original firmware version, and are you a KM tech? Emujo

thank you for ur reply

i had version 13 installed

i updated to the latest version 21 when i started facing this problem

i replaced both PRCB and MFP boards with another machine and all worked fine

the current machine is displaying no error codes just the feeder and the SDB arent functionning

I believe these had to be updated in steps...you can't go from 13 to 21 w/o the middle steps. Emujo

IMO..you need to start with recovery firmware...then step up to current...When you did the original update, did you select include the ADF? It has to be flashed separately like the image and controller files. If you didn't, try flashing the ADF alone before attempting the recovery firmware. Emujo
