Re: File Management Utility
Its not obvious but my first message was in response to his initial comment. Then he edited his post and put in the thing I quoted in the subsequent reply. So it looks to you like I am being impatient but it's actually consecutive replies to someone who just felt the need to tell me what I really meant and then edited their post to validate their opinion.
im sorry if that comes off as brash but it's just frustrating to have someone try and correct you without like even knowing what I am talking about. I'm not sure how anyone would not be a little miffed by that

Re: File Management Utility
Well sir, i can see your frustration and we all get them from time to time. All i am saying is that you could have handle is more patiently and discreetly, like send him a private message and let him know personally. Now when you put it on the forum everyone sees it and the rest follows. Plus those who are on this forum long enough knows blackcat does his best to get results and i don't think he was trying to intimidate you. lets move on and maybe someone can solve this for you.

Re: File Management Utility
Has Subaro shown the correct documentation above. The document shown pertains in most part to WINXP version of the file manager utility.Inauguration to the "AI cancel-culture" fraternity 1997...

Re: File Management Utility
I ask for a particular reason. The older MFD's were a bit tricky to get the software working fully.
We don't mind if you did or didn't get it working on every machine, just list the problem machine(s)....
Can you list the problem MFD's and the steps you took to try an get it working.

Re: File Management Utility
I had installed once quite sometime back.
Correct me if I am wrong.
FMU is like a centralize Scan system which you could control the MFDs with scan path permission you set.
Example
MFD A can have the scan path folders 1, 2 & 3.
MFD B can have the scan path folder 1
MFP C can have the scan path folder 1 & 3.
You should able to configure SMB or FTP. ~Comment
