Has anyone figured out why this is happening? There's nothing specific from Kyocera, only one bulletin regarding squeaky noise when printing in duplex, but this happens without duplex. And no, i'm not talking about the rear side noise, that's easy. This comes from the right side where all the gears are. Machines are working fine, it's just really annoying squeaking noise.
I'm used to dust and paper dust causing this over the years, but this is something else. We got many M35x0dn on the field, and no specific clue why or how to fix this. We managed to silence one by butchering complete right side, cleaning and greasing it, and we can't be sure it won't start again. I refuse to believe that i need to spend like 2-3 hours per machine for hundreds of machines and hope for the best.
I watched Polaris closely and had high hopes for it, but i must say I'm disappointed. First it was J0501 headaches (i opened a thread on it), than terrible heat rollers where they gave us new fuser unit, and now this.
I'm not pissed that all of this causes extra costs for dealers that Kyocera won't make up for (at least not where i live), we can live with that. But we can't live with losing clients due to not knowing fast enough what the f**k to do over and over again.
