[Error Code] FS 3460 ERROR 3200

Customer called with a system error code 3200. looked it up Ughhh check cables then replace scanner. (F#$K) has any body seen this and what did you do? Machine has 40k.

I've got a FS3140 in the shop right now with 140K. Sales wants it ready for resale. Everything looks OK except I looked at the Error Log and found 99 C3200s in history. 8 in the last 1000 copies.

I haven't looked much beyond that yet. Plan on giving the optics a good cleaning when I get a chance.

Don't replace anything. Just give optics (mirrors and lamp) and the top glass (upper and bottom side) good cleaning.

As kyofan rightly said just clean the optics ,and dont forget the white strip on the glass, just make sure its clean and you are done!

Thanks everybody re-seated ribbon cable and it went away. Ugh snap on covers.

just a note here. hope you cleaned and lube the scanner rail. they get sticky after a while and it can code out again.
