Kyocera & copystar toner

I have a Kyocera T\A 6550ci in the field and would like to know if the Copy star toner will work in it. They have different numbers. CS-6550ci is 8709 and the T\A 6550ci I think is 8707. They look the same but I have learned that looks can be deceiving.

In the past the drive gear was different in the machine to turn the toner bottle. If the number is different then the item is different.
