[Jamming] Kyocera M3550idn M3040 cassette clicks

Got Kyocera M3550idn copier 3 months old that paper cassette lift motor keep clicking. quick check show that the paper lift assembly is broken causing the clicking problem. Unit located on the lower right side of the machine black color plastic and lifting the paper.
The manual does not show the unit or the part number. Anyone got part number for the unit?

    Thanks all

check the paper tray also. there is a lifting mechanism there that is often the problem of paper lift problem. remove the cover and you will see the gear shaped in a semi arc type. the tooth gets broken.

revision 4 of the parts manual. note. the newer revisions contains parts or modified parts that the previous versions has [all kyocera machines ]

Re: Kyocera M3550idn M3040 cassette clicks

Thanks for the help. BUT....I think you are both wrong.
I am looking for the paper cassette lift unit. it is around 1 feet longhas only one motor andgot the connector for additional tray on the buttom. And as i mentioned the unit is not shown on the parts manual.
I called kyocera and they said the part for the M3550idn and M3560idn is wrong on the manual and the correct part is not on the manual drawing and no part number mentioned
The dealer support was unable to provide the part number.
Only a tech that faced this issue before and worked on this machine will be able to find the part number.
Again - The part manual release is wrong and does not show the correct parts for the cassette 1

I was looking for a different problem and came across a bulletin "2LV-0043 (E148) that points to the cassette issue with this model. Looks like it has a list of part numbers.

              hope it helps.

                Good catch.

To add to that, make sure to find Rev. 4 of the bulletin as the broken shaft you described was only updated to the bulletin a month and a half ago.

Yes, the bulletin is there. but comprehending it is another, with all that information, you have to figure out exactly what is what. i gather the part he is after is

                  302LV02040 ---- guide cassette R

And it is recommended to change the cassette gear cover and lift gear at the same time as they have been modified also. In some instance, engine and controller pwb has to be replaced as to timing and current to the lift motor. [ depends on serial number ] read the bulletin.

It is amazing you found this bulletin.
I am on the Kyocera dealer site kdaconnect.com and can not find this bulletin.
                    Can you post a link?
Meanwhile I got the part from an old broken printer FS4300. And wonder if it make sense to give it back to the client or send the machine for Kyocera to change the gears and boards as "subaro" mentioned.
