    FS-4020DN old firmware and Command Center password

    Hi Folks,

    I've lost password to access Command Center on a Kyocera FS-4020DN. Default password is "admin00" but it doesn't work. Customer must have changed it and forget it....

    Kyocera support give me a Prescribe code to reset password
    !R!SIOP0,'RESET:0';EXIT;
    but seems to work only on old firmware.

    I'm looking for firmware version 01.xx.xxxx.
    The oldest I have is 07.00.0030 (2010-12-20).

    Can someone help me please?
    Can anybody give me another way to reset Command Center password?

    Thank you in advance,
    Kyove

    Have never gotten a prescribe command to reset command center password to work. on this forum there are threads on this and some have posted commands but none have worked for me. The only way, was for kyocera usa to remote access the machine and do it. You will need ic link on your computer and set the security level to low on the machine. ic link, they can provide for you, but if you install it before the remote in it will move things faster.

      I usex to do this frequently by FTPing a text file to the printer containing a few lines of prescribe. You can zlso use command centre but it's just easy from command prompt.

      Unfortunately, I'm here looking for that prescribe code so if I find it, I'll report back.
