    Kyocera dv-8305 vs dv-8505

    Hi!

We have a Kyocera dv-8505m (FS-C8600DN) damaged because of improper installation (cracked gears)
our supplier have a cheap dv-8305m unit (much cheaper, than dv-8505), so the question is:
are the gears of these two units interchangeable? what are other differences between dv-8505 and dv-8305?

I don't think anyone will be able to answer your question, unless they have done what you want to do. The dev unit is sold as a whole unit and individual parts are not avaliable. Your best bet is if you can find a use dev, from that series and use those gears. The TA 4550ci and TA5550ci uses the same dev as to the parts manual.
do your research on the net to verify.

check the price of a MK KIT and compare with individual items if you are going to purchase a new dev, you may be surprised with the cost difference.
