Hi at all, I hope you had a nice and beautiful Christmas! The holidays are over and I am still facing a problem with Taskalfa 250ci which I have been having a few weeks now. A few weeks ago the machine started to have problems with cyan. Every colored copy and every colored print job resulted in a washed out image, like you can see in this picture http://www1.minpic.de/bild_anzeigen_...img=241781.jpg (test print). The blue is light on the left and starts to get thicker on the right instead of being solid blue (I hope you understand my problem). A few days later the problem got even worse. Now, everytime I color copy something or print a colored page directly from the pc the color blue seems to be very washed out and I have blue stains all over the page. Printing and copying in b/w is not a problem, but colored is problematic. The blue stains that also appear even when I color copy a totally blank white page are not always the same. The vary in size, number and shape. Do you have any idea what the problem could be or what I can do to fix it? I have already exchanged the cyan toner, but no luck. Thank you in advance!

Re: Strange problem with cyan drum
Thank you for your answer. However, I do not understand it. I am no expert on copy machines and not really sure what exactly to swap? And where can I find the charge roller?Comment

Re: Strange problem with cyan drum
Do you know how to get to the drum units? Open front cover, remove toner, remove waste toner container and waste container drawer. 5 screws and 2 clips hold in that whole front grey unit. Remove the connector for the waste container sensor first (behind the little door).

Re: Strange problem with cyan drum
I can't open the attached image. Firewall my end blocks it.
Without viewing the image there is a good chance the machine may require a good clean and service.
May be a colour calibration ?

Re: Strange problem with cyan drum
I would ditto the above. If you don't know this machine and does not have the service manual, then it's best to get professional help or you can put yourself in expense.
The reason is, if you don't follow the disassembly and assembly procedures exactly ,then you can ruin the transfer belt and others.Last edited by subaro; 12-29-2015, 04:04 AM.THE ONLY THING FOR EVIL TO TRIUMPH IS FOR GOOD MEN TO DO NOTHING..........edmund burkeComment
