TA180 upgrade to TA181

Question.
Can I put a scanner and network card in Taskalpha 180 and up grade it to a Taskalpha 181 ?
It would be a shame to throw the TA180 machine away because of no NIC interface.

If it can be done, does anyone have an old upgrade kit lying around they want to sell ?

You can put in printing system Z (usb only and rather expensive), or go with external network print server like IB-110 and that's it.

So I can't put an Ethernet NIC board in the TA180 and convert the machine into a network printer....bugger.

I guess a system Z USB would be okay.

It would be a waste to throw away a perfectly good low volume A3 machine because it cannot print.
