KM4050 setup on domain with group policy and AD

I am installing 4 KM4050's in a school district. There will be 2 at the high school and 2 at the elementary school. Each School is on it's own domain and the Domain controller at each site is running Server 2K3. I know that I will need to setup a username and password for each machine. I also know that those machines will need to join the domain.

What I don't know is the group policy settings in AD to make the copiers be able to scan to folders that have permissions enabled.

I did read something about SMB in the domain has certificates attached to the packets and that keyocera's won't support the certificates. Thus the reason for the editing of the group policies.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Josh

    domain

three ways to scan smb , email and special scan file utily.

smb you need to share folder on network and user needs to have admin rights thats it.

Some places will not have shares folders so use scan to file or scan to email
