[Error Code] Kyocera 4551ci with F214 code, brand new!!

Have a Kyocera 4551ci that throws a f214 code when using the DP unit. Scan from glass is fine. Have tried a different DP as well. Code is not in SM. Any suggestions??

Have there been any updates on this problem? I have a FS3640 doing the same thing. Copies through the DP are OK. Only time it errors is scanning to folder through the DP. Scans from glass are good. Replaced the main board, ISU, ribbon cable to ISU, document processor. Still get a F214 when scanning to folder.

No additional memory installed. Embedded memory was replaced when main board was replaced. Also tried firmware. Still does not work.

what firmware is the machine on? Suppose to have addressed this from V2.00

There's a solution from replacing the DP interface cable... One case on KDA says the problem moves with DP, and then advised to check the cable.

Finally found the answer on the 3640. Went into maintenance mode using 06141010 and reset memory using U020. This mode is not available in the regular maintenance mode. After this you will have to set registration from the trays and from the Document Processor. All address book and fax information will have to be reset. Run U917 before doing this to get address book information or you will loose it.
