    Jam E1 Kyocera FS-3900

    Hello,

    I've a E1 jam on a FS-3900dn printer.
Changed the fusing but after a few 100 prints the jam came back.

I've found this in the manual;E1: The length of paper is shorter than designated for the paper cassette. [47]

Paper tray is A4 like it should be.
    maybe the cassette size switch?

    anyone?

    thx

The manual says defective paper size switch, but you might just see if the size dial on the paper cassette is pushing that switch correctly.

If it's like the fs3920 check the size indicator on the cassette.it can move quite easily and fool the machine into thinking it has different sized paper causing this same issue your having

I changed the registration parts with the drive assy.
        no recall since 3 weeks.

PS: I've checked the size indicator.
Normaly when it is the size indicator jam will happen after the 1st print and not after approx 10 prints.

        Anyway thanks for the reply/support.
