Copystar cs-5500i stuck on the welcome screen

Hello every one
im new to the forum but not really to copiers
but i have an issue with a copystar cs-5500i that is stuck on the "welcome" page and i thought it was the hdd but i changed the hdd over to a working one thinking it was the hdd but it boots up just fine
i was hoping someone could help me out thanks in advanced!!

How long has it stayed locked on the welcome screen? Longer than 10 minutes? 30?

Does the machine engine and/or scanner cycle up?

Have you reset the panel dip switch?

Flashed firmware?

I don't quite understand what you mean here. Are you saying it now boots up properly with the new HDD? In any case, HDD errors, logical or mechanical, would present with a C0640 most likely. It sounds more like an eventual CF000 (Communication error between main PWB and panel PWB). If you're with an authorized dealer, look up the CF000 bulletin for the Saturn series (300ci) and have fun with that flowchart!

it stays stuck for bout 20 min after that i had to turn it off yesterday i changed one of the dimm and still nothing, yes the engine and scanner cycle, and no before i have not done firmware on this machine, or have not reset the panel dip switch either

and for the hdd i took the hdd from this machine and put it on a working machine and the hdd boots up fine on another machine

It sits at the welcome screen, forever? Should throw a code eventually, I'd certainly try reflashing (not turbo) the firmware and do a panel reset.
