Sorry .I posted wrong model before.I don't think the yellow toner motor is turning.Has anyone had this problem on this model before?
It looks like a real pain to replace motor if I'm wrong.Thanks Andy

Have repaired quite a number of the fs-2626 which is the exact machine as the M6526. The parts list are for both models name. Search the forum here and see the threads of the mod kit and the time it takes. They may have done all the mods with this m6526, so you may not have to do this. Never had to replace the toner motor at all. the transfer belt ports has an augur that transfers the toner to the dev. check it the blelt augur is working properly. block the y dev supply port and let the machine do the add toner, then check if toner is being supplied. if toner is getting through, then replace the dev unit. the toner sensor is in the dev unit and they do go bad sometimes.

But this machine is under warranty. better to call kyocera and let them direct you to what parts to replace, in that way you are not on the hook for using multiple parts for warranty ect.

The toner motor assy is not difficult if you follow the dissasembly instrutions exactly, paying attention to the mylar and colour reg sensor mylar. take photos before removal

If you need to follow the bulletin for the "add toner" message, do yourself a favor and bring the machine into your shop. It's over 40 pages and it will take a day or more. It's a nightmare, be careful

There are bulletin for toner add problems on the fs-2626. There is non for the m6526. those mod should have been done at the factory and should not have to be done again. Try a new y toner cartridge and and new y dev first under warranty. If that fail then contact kyocera tech support and they will advise you.
This machine you have to use your wits to figure out things and it only comes with taking them apart and putting back together and they are time consuming. but i love the challenge and have conquered this little pest.

I would be curious as to what resolves your issue. I have 12 M6526cdn currently in use, I do have an occasional issue on 1, where it is not adding the yellow toner properly and occasionally will give my customer the add toner message, my customer opens the cover, shakes the toner cart. (OEM and full), and toner light will turn off, but will come back on a few days later and/or sometimes a week or two later. First, I replaced the toner cart., still same issue, next, I replaced the yellow developing unit (swapped with a known working one) and replaced the transfer belt ( new one), made sure MFP is sitting level and still have the occasional replace yellow toner cart. message. The original yellow developing unit I swapped out is working in the other MFP with no issues.

Sorry about late reply.This was a job subcontracted to me from another company.The customer who has the problem is 1.5 years into a 3 year lease.He is telling leasing
company that he dosnt want machine and that the service company cant fix it,So I have not been back to call yet as they work this out,If status changes and I service machine I will let you know the outcome.

the customer has finally resolved issues with service company and leasing company,so they want yellow toner motor replaced as Kyocera has suggested motor be replaced.
I tried to find service manual for this machine to see toner motor disassembly procedure(as everyone has been indicating this is real pain).the service manuals that I have seen online to download do not seem to
to include this in the disassembly section of the service manual.Can anyone tell me where I can get complete manual so I can see step by step how to replace yellow toner motor?

Sorry about long delay.THANK YOU for offer to send service man for disassembly,the company I was to do call for was able to get it repaired under the warranty.Apparently(and this is what the original co.that sold machine)says. The problem was the transfer assembly.Either way I never got to do call
