As far as i know there is no such model as M6525. Correct me if needed OR post the model number from the machine panel.

ECOSYS M6526cdn? It's the successor to the FS-C2626.

One of my parts manuals lists a M6525 in the filename of this same series but I think it's a documentation error.

          e: Found it, ECOSYS M6535cidn

Yeh, i know the m6525 replaces the fs-2626. He listed the m6525 and don't see that model listed. However there is an FS-6525 which is qutie a different machine. The importance of posting the exact model when referencing to a specific model. can't read minds as yet.

I just had this same problem and the same idiots responding which were no help order new sensor strip it's a little 1 inch by 6 inch board if your standing in front of machine remove the left side cover the sensor board. just look where the toners line up and the sensor board lines up. When you pull out a toner look where it goes you will see 4 little copper fingers thats the board but all you can see is the fingers it's not hard at all to change about 10 minutes

I really cant believe some of the thing you techs suggest. i cant believe your techs you guys would never make it at my place. Very rarely do i see anything you guys suggest thats even close to a fix. Are you techs trained or just wing it. All of these problem are common everyday problems we see here in atlanta. If this machine when you pull a status page if it's not showing up on there it's the sensor board. If it was generic toner the machine would ask you to ok it before continuing. to make you aware it generic toner in this model anyways

Get this. There is no model such as a 6525. There is the FS-6525. If techs are lazy to post the proper model number ,then the advice and troubleshooting could take a very different and expensive course and lots of wasted time. The poster made the correction after proding for the correct model.

I agree with your response for the poster question. I never had to replace the senor board, but reformed the pins that were bent.
By the way, are you sure that sensor board is 1 inch by six inch as you mentioned earlier. Never took out one of those by i am skeptical about that size.

we just put out a dozen or so of these and we had the same issue with two of them the black wasnt showing up on the auditing system or the status page changed that board and it did the trick
