I have a 300i that I need to install Pinpoint scan on. I have the older version 1.0 that tech support said I needed. I was also instructed to update the firmware to 9.0 which I have. My issue is that the procedure on the Pinpoint 1.0 is not the same as the current 2.0 and tech support cannot find any documentation on the install procedure. Does anyone have an documentation or advice as to how to get this done?

There's no 300i under supported models in 2.0. It might work with 1.x. There's no documentation for 1.x that i know of. Shouldn't be much different from 2.0. You will need version 1.x .pkg file and the license for it. Also you will need pinpoint.exe to set it up on PCs. -

Thanks for the response Kyo. I know its old but they want it. Of course there are certain steps that must take place to install which is different than 2.0. Oh well, I keep searching.Comment

The procedure shouldn't be any different from 2.0. Have you tried it? You can just install a trial if you haven't registered a license yet.Comment
