Kyocera taskalfa 400ci Toner levels

Hello,

I have a taskalfa 400ci and I did a Status page print and the Toner Gauge section on the bottom tells me "we recommend the use of our own toner blah blah blah" and there is no toner levels for this machine an I missing something? Is it in the settings I need to turn on somewhere?

The machine does not contain genuine chipped toner.

I've had trouble with some of these machines not recognize the OEM toners but I have seen others recognize a compatible brand. I called Kyocera but they weren't much help. Wonder if anyone else has had trouble with the machine not recognizing the OEM toner

Only time I've seen issues of toner detection is when it has a Dev issue. Dev still works but toner detection goes. No other issues.

I have replaced the RFID board before. The machine would not show the toner levels. It is located behind the toner containers.

would recommend use of original toners on this model however you can buy the flat chip online which sticks onto toner cartridge at uninetimaging in spain.
