    EcoSyS FS-C5015N "Please Wait (Calibrating)

This Printer was just brought into the shop for repair. Aside from a couple switch errors, (check waste toner, side cover, both cheated for testing purposes), when the machine is switched on, it first displays "Self Test", then it goes to "Please Wait (Calibrating), then the motors stop and the message remains in the display, and the attention led begins to flash.

I have all the manuals for this machine, but I can't seem to find anything that seems to address the symptoms.

Thanks in advance to anyone who wants to offer any assistance.

This machine can turn your fantastic day into hypertension mode. remove transfer belt, drum and dev unit and reinstall. check the dev ribbon cable ends for damage and when reinstalling the drum, make sure the drum ground spring is making proper contact [ or blank page for that colour will result ]. sometimes, the cheaters come loose and give that symptom, make sure you have good switch cheaters as they creep out easily. especially for the top covers.

Subaro is right. Did you fix the machine yet. It sounds like it is missing a color although I had one missing and it still goes through the calibration. Maybe the patch reader for the etb is not working. If for some reason the ribbon cables get fouled on the ends you can take a pair of scissors and carefully cut up on the end of the cable above the bad spot of if there is enough metal strip left. Only cut the minimal amount and make a straight cut all the way across all of them so you end up with a new looking end. It needs to be cut as perfectly straight as you can. I would also install firmware.
