Ecosys P6021cdn- Machine displaying Toner K low, after replacing Black Toner,

Machine disassembled and serviced, New Black Developer Unit K was installed, calibration done, machine tested and left working okay, then after a day the customer called to say the machine is displaying toner K low and a new toner K was installed. The firmware was upgraded to the latest

Check the contacts on the left where you install the toner, they get bent up very easy, they are on the machine side not the cartridge

This machine is under warranty. Call kyocera and open a ticket and let them advise you as to what to replace. In this way, you are not on hook for the parts you replace and for printers the labour is covered for the first repair or something like that. Otherwise, remove transferbelt and turn the belt to make sure the augur is moving. reinstall and bang the left side one or two times [someone here mentioned that ], to engage the toner drive coupler.
This is an issue with the older models where mod kit had to be done. with these newer models this was supposed to be fixed and we have not seen this issue with the ones we have as far as i know.
