[Error Code] C2330 and |C2340 error code on FS C2626 after Retrofit installed HELP!!!

Hi guys,

Most of us know the problem with C2626 *toner container improperly installed( I was told to order the toner CAMS retrofits. i installed those and reassembled, however |I am not getting a C2330 error on one C2626 and C2430 on the other. Any help would be appreciated

service manual refers the codes to the fuser pressure release motor. From the rear of the machine this is the motor on the top right hand side. Check that you did not miss the connector to the engine board. It is easy for it to be hidden under the parts there. trace the wire harness from the motor to the engine pwb. YC38 on engine pwb. OR check your assy of the release motor.

Thanks for the information. I am aware of the error code and I've also replaced the Fuser pressure release motor. Thinking of replacing the engine board. But wanted to know what could cause the C2340 one one of the machines

I have done mods for quite a number of those machines and never had that issue. What our dealer rep has mentioned is a few of the connectors are keyed the same way and if you plug connectors in the wrong connector then the engine pwb may be damaged. I would check the fuser and see that everything is in place and the fuser release mechanism is working correctly on the fuser itself.

looking closer at the error code C2340 , it refers to the evsw is not detected. see page 311 [YC19 ]of the service manual. there are two connectors from the fuser to this board, and the board has a 6 pin connector that runs to the engine pwb. I think you may have missed that white cable connection to that board or the connector from the fuser to the this board in not connected correctly or the board connector has a problem. You will have to go back and check the connection to this board.
