    kyocera desctop problem scanning

Hi all. Got a Olivetti mf2614 ( kyocera desktop colour) printer. Customer has no network and only access to guest wifi. So I have connected 2 laptops and a printer via a switch. One laptop win 7 other win 10. Gave fixed IP to all devices. Setup print and scan to folder and all worked fine. Today both stopped scanning. On win 7 PC retyped password and scanner started working but win 10 PC doesn't scan. Login error. Nothing changed at all same user name and password. If I do a connection test via command centre connection is good. As soon as I try scanning after a good 40-50 seconds of connection message it fails. Can this be a firewall on won 10 ? F/w is up to date too. Any ideas? Cheers.

This is my shortcut to scanning issues like yours:

Under user accounts -Control Panel at PC-, create a new user -like SCANNER- and password assigned - like 12345 -.

whit this new account information, go to command center and reenter information in the appropriate fields.

    check it out.

New user is not an option and messing with the registry is a last resort. That MS update link looks promising though. Will try it today. Thank you all.
