[Misc] Kyocera TASKAlfa XXX-0,1 (Series) ID Card Reader Message

Hey Guys, So its not a huge issue but, I've come across a few TA's when the ID Card Reader has been taken off but a message is still displayed at the bottom of the screen saying it can't find it. All i want to do is get rid of the message line. I have tried U204 and turned off the Card Reader but to no effort it does anything. Has anyone come up with a solution??

The only way to remove the message is to replace the eeprom on the main pwb, you will then get a C0180 (serial number mismatch) but then run U004 and all will be good.
