FS-2100 No display, fan only at power on

Printer turns on at the switch but the only thing that comes up is the fuser exit fan. No display, no roation, no fuser etc. Have checked out power supply board and there's 110 coming in and 24 going out. Suspecting something with the engine board but womdering if anyone has seen this before we order a board. Also the interlock switch is working with 24 volts per the service manual. Any thoughts?

remove the top cover and check that the control panel flat cable is fully inserted. remove it, inspect it and reinstall it. If that fails, then you may be looking at the mainboard or engine board. Have never had to replace one of those as yet and we have lots of those machine out there. [4200]

Also, you can remove the mainboard and reinstall it. four screws at the back, pull out and reinsert and secure again.
