Bizhub 423,552, C25 HDD wipe and size

    Hi All

I need to completely wipe the HDD on a Biz Hub 423,552 and C25. ( a little hand holding please, not a Biz hub junkie)

    1) Can I do a complete wipe from the op panel, if so how?

    2) What size HDD do they take and can off the self ones be used (thinking of doing a swap)
    Thanks for the help.

      Hi allan
They are going back to the leasing company and the customer wants the drives "wiped" ..So I guess for security.

      Thanks...

One way is to do a physical format. But with some effort data can be recovered.

The recommended way is to overwrite all data.
Under utility->administrator->security settings ->HDD/SSD settings -> overwrite ALL data.
I believe a user manual would cover this.
        Whatever

The C25 does not have the overwrite function. But can be formatted from from -> sys default menu -> HDD format all.
Or remove the drives and use a computer to overwrite them.
          Whatever

Last time I ran overwrite all HDD data I ended up with a d012 code.

Does anyone know how to run overwrite and leave the machine running?
