Kyocera Ecosys p6035cdn drum yellow problem

    Hi there,
I was searching for any possibility of replacing any of the drum unit in this machine because the yellow drum seems to be damaged and seqently prints yellow short lines every turn on every page. But i found nothing about spare drum units. Is the drum unit replecable in this machine? or just have to buy a new machine?

Think on those machines drums are interchangeable, no harm in swapping the yellow with one others to see if the problem follows. At least you will know if in fact a drum is what you need.

They are interchangeable (all the same part number.) and as said above I would swap one around with another to see if the problem follows

so after replacing with other one for example cyan, if the drum is damaged, there should be cyan lines, scratches on the prints as i suppose...

Drum removal only requires removing the toner cartridges, closing toner inlet shutter, removing 1 screw and cover, lifting a lever release, and then removing the itb. You will then be able to lift out the drum(s). There may be an extra screw in there that I'm forgetting about, but the whole process takes less than 3 minutes.

That's the ITB. Pull the yellow shutter on the right towards you and remove one screw on the same side. On the left side, there should be a cover with a screw. Remove the screw and cover and then lift up on the black lever. You can then remove the ITB by lifting on the handle all the way up and then pulling straight out.

You can simply remove it, no levers or screws.

There is a square grey cover in the corner of the belt cavity that you remove to take the transfer belt out.

Underneath that cover is a grey lever that you move to the up position to retract the drum drive couplers.
