Kyocera Mira 3510I. Intermittent lines

Hi
Lines occur maybe 5 times a day on copy and scan
Not on print.machine not used as a fax.
Customer does about 300 copies a day.
I have replaced drum unit and developer unit and have updated firmware,all no help.
Any suggestions appreciated.

That looks like slit glass to me.

Sorry.paper feeding in reduction way.thiz is intermittent problem with line or 2anywhere and could be whole day with lines.happens also off glass
.lines are from side to side,not too to bottom

Your answer is in your question, looks to me like the LED unit is flickering, if like you say it never happens when printing you have an optical problem.

If it's happening when copying with slit glass and glass itself and never from print. Has to be optics
