The inner unit will become contaminated with toner spill. Best to replace the whole unit.

Most likely the shutter release sensor is dirty. If it is , why? Is the copier running dirty, worn DV unit or simply poor maintenance/cleaning during S.C.
      Good luck.

Thanks for the answer, but this error on the two new devices out of the box.
The waste toner box goes to the base with the MFP.
Where to find this sensor or what needs to be moved?

Make sure the connector is plugged in on the inner unit. It is behind the flap next to the left of the toner cartridge.

Also have you released the developer shutter fixing pin as in the installation instructions?

The equipment was assembled without a service engineer, and when turned on, there was an error.
With MFP, all tapes were removed from the outside and from the trays

Open the front door and release the shutter pin. This needs to be done before you can use the machine as it locks the developer unit to stop spillage during delivery.

OK..Most likely the developer shutter was not released. See page 1-2-26 in the service manual and I would retrace/redo all the set up steps .

They come with setup instructions out of the box.

There are normally warnings and diagrams taped over the Developer shutters on new Kyoceras saying to to release it and how to release it. And also an installation manual.
