    TASKalfa 2551ci. Error code C9540, Any ideas other than the obvious

    Two machine was present parts were switched around. one machie working okay now but the other had a 6600 error code but now displays C9540.

      Check DP to machine connections, particularly the add-on board that is installed with the high end feeder, make sure that it is seated to the main board or you or one of your end users has attempted to make copies of currency, stocks, or bonds. Only the manufacturer, Kyocera, can help you recover function of this machine

          this code occurs after swapping out parts from one 2551ci to another

              Did you swap a board? you can get a counterfeit code by extremely bad luck. here's proof Error c9540 Taskalfa 500ci? - Topic

              good thing is it's busy work ahead of you. not like you sliced a wire out of a 6 foot long harness...

                  im going to swap the scanner PCB and see what happens, after I will have to try and contact kyocera
