    KYOCERA TA 5500i FAULTY MAINBOARDS

    GOOD DAY TO ALL

we are facing a strange issue with Task Alfa 5500i machines .
Installed 6 machines in a company ( these machines are refurbished )
configured printing and Scan to network Folder. After few hours one by one
3 machines lost Display ( no light ) and panel switches inactive .
while restarting Machine takes the cycle but nothing on the display panel.

it is confirmed The main Board is faulty ( we checked the faulty board in a
    working machine )

To test we installed another machine in one of the location and it also ended up
    with same issue.

Ok now we may assume that LAN is having problem.
But other 3 machine are also connected in the same switch along with
lot of computers and small printers.

also we are using the same port where samsung and canon copier/ printers
    was working

anybody had any such experience ?

    regards

Could it be power spiking rather than a LAN issue. Hook one up with a UPS and see how it gets on.

Are they on a POE Switch? Do you have a bad port?

              that was a good thinking

we checked weather the LAN is POE but no.
Plenty of printers and computers are connected with the same switch.
also tested one 5500 connected to a small LAN switch and the result was same
machine went blank after 1 hour

When the screen goes blank, Can the machine do anything? What happens if you send a print job? A copy? Does it stay on the network?

Is the problem purely display related?
