I have a 6030/DF650/BF1 Folder problem where the customer complains that the fold is not in the center. I went out there and adjusted the position of the fold in simulation and everything seemed ok. The problem came back so I guess the fold is placed inconsistently, varying up to more than an inch. What can I look at or replace to address this problem? I would like to be able to view the folding process as a troubleshooting aid but there doesn't seen to be a way. Problem seems worse on 8 1/2 x 11, but also occurs on 11 x 17.

I had one that was about a half inch off on about 1 in 20 sets, I did some cleaning and it has been quiet for a while now. I agree, it would be nicer if you see what was going on. Reminds me of the AI4040 with the swing out electronics bay that made working on the back of the machine a pain in the ass.

try replacing the rollers(the long black onesthat actually do the folding) in the folding unit I had the same problem a long time ago and kyocera updated the rollers if you try this out look at the defference in the rollersComment
