KM-1820 USB WIA scan

has anyone gotten this to work?

KM-1820 hooked to a Vista PC, using WIA. i can get the scanner to show in the cameras and scanner folder, but when using a application to try to scan into it, it cant find the scanner.

any ideas or someone that has made it work?????

uninstall the scanner and print drivers
unplug the usb...
Restart pc
install the scanner and printer from cd
install the wia scan from cd
restart pc
plug in usb for printer
make sure that the printer is correctly auto installed from tray by the clock...
If that doesn't work scanning wont work right...
Once scanning works...
Restart pc
you are done...
