Re Utax kyocera RAM Memory and hard drives

HI All

was wondering if anyone out there could answer me the a few questions. As part of data protection we are now being asked to leave the original hardrives with the customer so was wondering if i could just order up generic drives online rather than ordering through the offical kyocera/utax dealerships.

Also was wondering if anyone could let me know if it is possible to order 1gb RAM Dimms for the utax p4030mfp part no:9ddr31000 elswhere other than main dealers.

the hard drives are not a problem just swap them with any hdd and do a chkdisc.i never use the part as they are too dear.
as for the ram memory if it is a CODE memory it wont boot boot up with any other ram .if its just ram memory any one will do.
