    4550ci-c640

We have replaced both hard drives, cables and sims #21, #24, and 989. We called Hytec and their tech support advised us that they have never repaired the main PCB and have it fix this code. Any of you great minds and any other ideas??? Thanks in advance for any help on this.

Sounds like you replaced the what usually causes this issue, but try to remove memory and clean contacts, otherwise it will be main controller, make sure you update firmware.

    Good luck

Have you reloaded the firmware? If you have replaced the HDDs and run sim 21 my next step would be to reload the firmware and NOT the turbo pack, use the full firmware version. You may have a corrupted file in the firmware. Using the turbo pack will skip replacing any files as long as the version numbers match regardless if it is corrupted. We never use turbo packs for this reason when updating firmware only the full version. Been there, done that, do not want to do it again.

There is a QA (C103-2LC-0077) that addresses this code calling for the replacement of the SATA cable, new part # 302K946A30

Does it have a fax system installed, try removing the fax card and see if anything changes, then reinstall it after reformatting the drive or whatever else you need to do. It's a long shot but I have seen fax systems cause problems resetting machines on a few occasions, the fax wasn't bad, but it was preventing the reset for whatever reason.

                something like this:

if you need to test the 4550ci,you need 2 supply for test
