    [Misc] STOCKING PARTS

Hi all, we are a Kyocera dealer new to the copier business and I'm looking for some advice. Other than toners what parts do you find most useful to have in stock? What parts do you find yourselves using the most?

If you go into the bulletins section on the Kyocera website, you can get a list of parts most used.

FT and charge rollers but depending on what you are planning to put in the field. Sometimes it just as expensive to order a new drum that comes with the charge roller included (2 parts for price of 1).
If you have new machines on your demo floor you can rob from that may be the best until you see the trends in models and see what you need to stock extra parts for.

Good luck! They are good machines

I sometimes just get a maintenance kit( normally for the color machines I will just get the b/w kit because the color kits can get expensive) and keep it for temp parts. You can only use them as temp part because of warranty reasons. It keeps the customer running until the warranty part comes in then you will have to go back out and swap the part but customer will be happy they are not down. Plus the kits can be cheaper then getting the parts one by one.
