    FS-9530DN - Call Service F030:0300100?

What does this error code mean on a Kyocera FS-9530DN?:

    Call Service
    F030:0300100

It's been showing up intermittently on the printer. Powering off seems to clear it for a awhile.

    Thanks!

    Main PWB system error
    Defective main
    PWB.
Replace the main PWB and check for correct

    operation.
although this is the fix by the manual they usually only need a firmware update

Agreed, you might want to add in a re-seat of connectors and boards for good measure.

double-check the print driver make sure its the right version with the pc/server being used. we had this show up on a color Kyocera printer. swapped boards, firmware and such, still didnt work right. put it in my office and it works fine. this was a c5015...we put a 5020 in its place and it works fine now.

            F030 error

this code is also associated with corrupt files sent to the printer. i have never had to change the board or dimm. turn off the m/c unplug from the network turn on the m/c it should reset. check print queue and delete the offending file recconnect to the network should be fine

It is extreemly unlikely the error is caused by a hardware fault, simply updating the driver often resolves the problem, worst case updating the firmware should resolve the fault
