    noise

    hello all, we the only dealer or have other dealers been having squeaking noises from the 02 series? we have put several exit assm and fusers in the units and they only last a month or 2, then start squeaking again. this is not just 1 account , but several. anything found out there on this issue?

    I have actually had this on a few myself. There is a bushing in the exit assy on the back side that meshes with the drive gears that wears down/breaks. I normally grease or replace it vs the whole assembly. Give that a shot

      The exit unit was modified just for that reason the bushing you are referring to has been changed to eliminate that noise(disimiliar metals) when you order the new exit unit it will be modified and under warranty the fuser squeaks from the rubber wiper blade that rides on the upper roller, clean the blade and the noise should go away
