KM 3050 scanning SMB

I have a 3050 that falls off the network randomly after long scan runs, customer turns off and back again then its ok ... they can still print when the scanning has stopped

has latest firmware

Any ideas

Network is server 2003 and xp mixed

scanner has an account on the server

have you tried pinging the printer when it falls off the network also does it energy save when it falls off ?

still pings and prints, just scanning stops, it scans then fails with no message just red scanner light

Scanning to email???... (Sorry, didnt read the topic carefully)

IP address conflict with PC, server, laptop or UPS?

Continuous ping... Does it time out anywhere? Unplug the machine then ping it.

Move the machine to another network point.

Firewall settings? What is you firmware parameter J2 on?

You should get an error code during/after the scan?

Does it manage to drop some of the file/pages on the machine/server?
